A Fort Pierce special magistrate found a business responsible for an advertising- matter violation and ordered a $1,010 fine after city code enforcement presented photographs showing flyers placed on at least 10 vehicles.
Officer Heather Debevec testified in case CT2026-2 that she had given the person who placed the flyers an evening to remove them but returned the next morning to find flyers still attached to at least 10 vehicles. She said she then looked up the business through Sunbiz, identified it as Services All In Inc., and issued the citation on March 24. Debevec said the city's calculation was $100 per flyer plus a $10 administrative fee, totaling $1,010.
The city moved its composite exhibit into evidence; the magistrate accepted it and "finds that a violation exists," ordering the violator assessed a fine of $1,010. The magistrate advised that failure to pay within 30 days would forward the citation to the county court system and that the respondent has 30 days to appeal.
The record shows Officer Debevec attempted a telephone warning before issuing the citation; she said the business's representative later had their father call but the officer told the court the son needed to appear and address the matter personally because he was the individual who placed the flyers.
The magistrate's order is an administrative enforcement action under local code; it imposes the specified fine and allows the standard appeal avenue to the county system if unpaid.
