Senate approves bill to modernize municipal street-aid reporting to DelDOT

After no extended debate, the Senate took a roll-call vote and the bill was recorded as passed (21 yes). The sponsor stressed the bill does not change funding formulas or reduce local flexibility; it seeks to streamline compliance and better align reporting with current digital practices.

The bill transfers implementation details to the responsible agencies and aims to improve DelDOT's visibility into municipal street-aid spending without creating new mandates on municipalities.
