The Livingston County Board of Supervisors paused regular business for the county’s 29th annual employee recognition, where supervisors and county leaders honored employees who reached 10- and 25-year milestones and recognized Louise Wadsworth, the county’s downtown director in the Economic Development Department, who is retiring after about two decades of service.
Shannon delivered the ceremony’s opening remarks, praising the honorees’ “dedication, professionalism, and commitment” and saying the anniversaries “represent years of commitment to public service” and institutional knowledge. The chair also thanked recipients and invited families forward for photographs and a reception following adjournment.
Honorees named in the transcript included Sue Carlock (Office for the Aging Director), Hayden Dadd (Conflict Defender), Melissa Wilkins (Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation), Margaret Patete (Department of Health), Janet Kraft (Department of Health), Shannon Bedard (Department of Health), Sean Hanglow (Department of Social Services), Maris Peppers (Department of Social Services, noted as not present), Renee Deats (Department of Social Services, 25-year honoree), Holly Hillier (Department of Social Services), John Yeager (Workhorse Development), Jennifer Rosborough (County Clerk), Jason Wood (Highway Department), Laszlo Babochi (Sheriff’s Department), Kenneth Pa (Sheriff’s Office), Aaron Weaver (Central Services), Lisa Dugan (Public Defender's Office, noted as not present), Michael Ann (Sheriff’s Office), Bo Langless (Sheriff’s Office), and Randall Newton (Sheriff’s Office). Several honorees were noted as unable to attend.
Organizers instructed honorees to proceed up the left side of the room for presentations and asked the chair and vice chair to receive recipients for photos; Kevin was noted as taking group and family pictures after adjournment. Applause and brief cheering followed many of the individual recognitions.
The formal meeting adjourned after the ceremony logistics and closing remarks were completed.
