Spina Farms floating-dock variance no longer required; administrative approval via Water Resources

The Lake County Planning Commission was informed June 25 that the Spina Farms floating-dock project (PL25294) no longer requires a variance from the shoreline ordinance after the applicant slightly changed the project scope. Senior Planner Michelle Iris told the commission that staff determined the variance was unnecessary and that the project is eligible for administrative approval through the county’s Water Resources Department. The commission took no formal action on the item.
