The Town of Victor planning board on June 24 approved a 12-by-20-foot storage shed and decorative string lighting at Phoenix Mills Plaza (300 Phoenix Mills Plaza). Wendy Santmeier, representing the plaza, told the board the lights are on a timer tied to business hours and that the display is decorative and not a safety hazard; the board voted to approve lighting and the shed with standard conditions including code-officer sign-off and a building permit (board vote recorded as 5–0).
Separately, the board held a public hearing on the Centola site plan (Baker Road) for a single-family home on about 2 acres. David Cox of Cox Engineering presented revised plans that include a swale to prevent runoff to an on-site federal wetland; board members raised site-distance and retaining-wall questions. The applicant will provide geotechnical information and additional retaining-wall cross-sections before the board takes final action. The public hearing was closed during the meeting and the item will return once requested details (retaining-wall suitability, drainage direction and La Bella comments) are addressed.
No formal action was taken on Centola at this meeting. The board also confirmed upcoming site visits and coordination on sidewalks and conservation-board reviews for forthcoming preliminary applications.
