The Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors on June 22 adopted resolution 622-26-43 to record an interfund operating transfer of $32,572.07 from the RSB fund to the county EMS fund.
Sheila Shackelton, the board secretary, presented the resolution and said, “RSB to EMS for $32,572.07,” describing the amount as the portion of a transfer enacted by motion earlier in the year that required a formal resolution for the county record. The board clarified the transfer applied to the current fiscal year and not to next year’s budget.
Supervisor Steve moved to adopt the resolution and Supervisor Isaac seconded. A roll-call vote followed: Supervisors Steve, Isaac, Travis, Scott Swilinski and Jake all voted aye and the resolution was approved.
The resolution records a prior operational transfer across county funds so that accounting matches the motion made in April and subsequent staff actions; no additional appropriations were announced at the meeting.
The board did not take further action on EMS staffing or new spending tied to the transfer. The resolution is entered in the county minutes as 622-26-43 and staff will file the formal transfer documentation with the county auditor.
