The Town of Lewisboro board handled routine business on June 22, approving the consent agenda, adopting a set of personnel and travel resolutions, and authorizing an emergency public-works contract.
The board approved the consent agenda, which included the minutes of the June 8, 2026 meeting. A resolution appointing Dale Bloom to the Open Space and Preserves Advisory Committee for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2027 was moved, seconded and adopted.
The board also approved attendance at recreation conferences for Nicole Caviola and Katie Palazzini, and approved Michael Portnoy's attendance at the National Recreation Conference using a scholarship to cover costs.
On a separate motion the board authorized an emergency replacement of two fire hydrants in the Oakridge Water & Sewer District on a not-to-exceed basis of $24,000 after fire-department inspection identified the hydrants as needing replacement. The motion was carried by roll call; individual vocal votes recorded in the transcript included "Aye" responses from board members present.
No additional formal contracts or ordinances were adopted at the June 22 meeting; the board concluded the public agenda and moved into executive session for a personnel discussion.
