Most Warren County road projects expected finished by July, staff says

Public Works staff told the Warren County Public Works Committee that most county road projects will be completed by July and listed recent completions and remaining segments.

Completed projects and sections named by staff include Athol and Mountain Road in the town of Thurman; Bay Road (County Route 7) and Main Street/Corinth Road in the town of Queensbury; Adirondack Drive and Potter Brook Road (County Route 46) in Chester and Warrensburg; East Schroon River Road (County Route 53) in Horicon; Valentine Pond Road in Horicon; Glendale Road between Chester and Horicon; and Landon Hill Road in Chester. Staff said the remaining work includes Horicon Avenue and Schroon River Road (County Route 10 in Warrensburg), which are expected to be done by July. Staff also said they have photos of completed projects available to attach to records.

Committee members asked operational questions about beaver issues and inventory updates for Sagamore Road; staff said there is not yet an update but will follow up. With no further business, the committee adjourned.
