Washington board approves salary and assignment changes in water and wastewater departments

The City of Washington Board of Public Works and Safety approved several personnel changes on June 22, 2026, including a title change and pay adjustment for a water department employee and a reassignment in parks/wastewater that will open a subsequent vacancy.

Staff read a request to change Mark Crosby’s title from water distribution maintenance to water HE operator and to increase his hourly pay from $25.80 to $26.52, effective July 4, 2026; the request was signed by Department of Waterhead Jim Lloyd.
