North Knox board leaves varsity boys basketball contract open after renewal motion gets no second

At a brief North Knox School Corp meeting, an unnamed board member moved to renew the varsity boys basketball contract, but the motion received no second and did not pass, leaving the contract open for future action.

One board member lauded girls basketball, girls track, boys track and golf, and described the baseball team's recent home win as a “great game,” saying “I just never felt like we were going to lose.” The board encouraged community attendance at upcoming games.

An unnamed board member said, “I’d like to make that motion” to renew the contract; the motion received no second.
