Heard County commissioners unanimously deny Tillman Infrastructure LLC tower special-use application

The Heard County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on June 22 to deny a special-use application from Tillman Infrastructure LLC for the construction of a communications tower after the Planning Commission recommended denial.

Chairman Lee Boone read the Planning Commission's recommendation into the record during the public hearing. An SBA representative spoke to the board urging the same recommendation and encouraged negotiations with the existing SBA tower operator over rates with AT&T.
