Van Bibber Lake Conservancy chair to resign; board appoints Lynn to fill Section 3 vacancy

Chair Rebecca Bilbrey told the board she intends to resign effective March 1, 2026, or at the next meeting on March 14. The board discussed addressing remaining freeholder board positions and how to proceed with filling vacancies.

Two candidates, Lynn and Mark, expressed interest in the vacant Section 3 seat during the meeting. The board determined the seat would be filled by appointment rather than election. The minutes record that an email exchange vote conducted on Feb. 25, 2026, selected Lynn to fill the open Section 3 seat.

Separately, the board reviewed a claim from former board member Sabrina Johnson for emergency office administration services totaling $2,192.40. The chair entertained a motion to approve the claim; Laren moved, Brenda seconded, and the board approved payment.
