The Hyde Park Planning Board on June 17 approved an amended site plan for Violet Avenue Coffee Shop (operating as Ready Sip Go), adopting Resolution 2024-02C and authorizing the chair or the chair’s designee to sign the amended plan after the applicant satisfies standard conditions.
Planning staff reported the applicant provided updated sign and site details and that county planning reviewed the project as a matter of local concern. Staff circulated a resolution that includes standard conditions: payment of escrowed fees, addition of required signature blocks and a note stating the amendment documents as-built lighting, dumpster enclosure, stonewall and parapet changes; the resolution preserves all previous notes and conditions from the October 16, 2024 approval.
The board voted unanimously by voice to adopt the resolution; the transcript shows the vote carried without recorded nays or abstentions. The resolution text read aloud includes the language: "This site plan amendment approves as built changes to the site plan, lighting, dumpster enclosure, stonewall, and building parapet. All other notes and conditions from the October 16th, 2024 approval remain in full force and effect." Staff said they will confirm required updates and fees before the chair signs the amended plan.
Next steps: Applicant must revise the plan set as directed, confirm fee payment and provide the required signatures; once staff verifies those conditions the chair will be authorized to sign the amended site plan.
