Diana Lane of the Harwich Channel and guests described an art fundraiser in which local artist Yvette Stenzel donated more than 280 original paintings to benefit the Harwich Conservation Trust.
The exhibition opened with a reception at the 204 Sisson Cultural and Arts Center; proceeds from sales support the Trust’s land‑conservation work. Lane and Trust representatives encouraged prospective buyers to review unsold pieces (they carry tags) and to contact the Trust to purchase artwork still available.
The show featured a broad range of subjects and drew a large turnout for the opening reception; the Trust thanked the Family Table Collaborative for providing food. On the broadcast, the Trust said the exhibition remained on display for about another week and that visitors could buy unsold pieces by taking the tag and contacting the Trust.
In addition to the art fundraiser, the Trust promoted its new newsletter and said it is selling Harwich Conservation Trust hats for $20 at the office and online. The organization said sale proceeds help "fulfill our mission," and encouraged listeners to check harwichconservationtrust.org for more details.
