Board accepts CTE resignation, approves new special‑education hire and acknowledges 15 tenure awards

Personnel: The board accepted the resignation of CTE instructor and robotics coach Denny (Dennis) Coslo, who served in the district since 2020 and resigned to take a position in Florida. The board approved the BEA new hire of special‑education instructor Steven Monk, who completed an alternative certification and an internship through a partnership with Talent Together, and acknowledged 15 staff members who have earned Michigan tenure (listed during the meeting). Trustees congratulated the newly tenured educators.

Operations: Facilities staff presented a request to purchase an additional skid loader dedicated to the CTE department; the board approved the purchase. Trustees were also informed the district continues active recruitment to refill the CTE instructor role and that administration is exploring dual‑enrollment and university partnership pathways to support CTE staffing.
