Pharr approves preliminary plat for Route 83 food-truck park on West State Street

The Pharr Planning & Zoning Commission approved the preliminary plat for the proposed Route 83 food-truck park, a 0.37-acre tract located in the 2000 block of West State Street.

Planner III Edberto Martinez presented the item and said Development Services recommends preliminary plat approval subject to the conditions set before the commission. The property is in General Business (C) zoning and is designated for commercial use in the land-use plan. Applicant representation (Pablo Jr.) was listed on the record; the proposed use was identified as a food-truck park and no variances were requested.

A commissioner moved to approve the preliminary plat and the motion carried on a voice vote. Staff noted conditions that must be satisfied before final platting and any on-site construction.
