Salary board approves $4,250 in training and education bonuses for juvenile probation supervisors

The Franklin County salary board approved disbursement of $4,250 in grant-in-aid funds to recognize training and education for two non-union juvenile probation supervisors.

Tiffany Bloyer and others outlined the grant-in-aid purpose—supplementing juvenile probation salaries, supporting training, and qualifying for state grant requirements. The board approved one-time supplements to supervisors Brandon Goshorn ($750 training recognition and $1,000 toward a master's) and Jenna Eaton ($1,500 as a case planning coach and $1,000 toward a master's), for a combined total of $4,250. Officials said the allocations were specified in the grant documents and must be distributed by the end of the month to secure the funding.

Commissioners approved the salary board motion; no member opposed.
