Mayor Bryan Bequette publicly recognized Police Captain Lonnie Neeman at the Jan. 19 Nebraska City Council meeting for 36 years of service with the Nebraska City Police Department, noting Neeman’s pending retirement. The council then proceeded to consider and approve agenda items including grant agreements, contract task orders and routine motions before adjourning at 6:58 P.M.
