The Beaver County solicitor told commissioners on June 17 that the county received a $241,000 check related to its 457 retirement plan and is coordinating with Empower to deposit and distribute the funds to plan participants.
The solicitor said staff are working through the administrative process to get the money to individuals who participated in the plan and asked participants to listen for further updates. He also reported ongoing work on ESU/direct task force interlocal agreements: some communities have already approved the agreements while others have outstanding questions and staff plan to reach out to address concerns over the coming week.
The solicitor also noted the county's Beaver County Boom event lineup was updated with additional performers; he closed his remarks by flagging litigation and personnel matters that the board will discuss in executive session.
