King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn honored with Norm Meiling Award

Jim Waldo presented the Norm Meiling Award and praised the recipient’s character, persistence and focus on results. He highlighted audits as a tool to expose waste and said that the work honored by the award is rooted in fiscal discipline and accountability.

Councilmember Reagan Dunn accepted the award, thanked the organization and attendees, and acknowledged his wife Ashley for support. Dunn spoke about the importance of audits, called for fiscal discipline and described ongoing efforts to pursue investigations into alleged grant and program mismanagement.

The award presentation preceded a panel discussion about the state income tax and pension litigation. The evening concluded with a reminder about a trivia night at Formula Brewing and logistics for leaving the venue.
