Pre-council reviews amended resolution to condemn Patton Lake for public park in Woodland Hills

Tom, a city staff member presenting the agenda, told the Tuscaloosa City pre-council that an amended resolution would authorize acquisition by condemnation for Patton Lake in the Woodland Hills neighborhood. "Patton Lake is a plan for the city is condemning that plan for a public park," Tom said, explaining the purpose of the amended resolution and noting the project had been discussed in the projects committee. Council members asked for clarification about where the item originated; Tom said the amendment came from the city office and that the project had previously been before the projects committee.
