Board accepts consent agenda; longtime technology director announced to depart

The North Polk Comm School District board unanimously approved the consent agenda, which included routine renewals, agreements and a noted repair recommendation for Bus No. 9.

Board discussion highlighted a repair estimate of $12,231.33 for Bus No. 9 from Unite Truck and Body; the bus is one of three in the district equipped with air conditioning and trustees framed the repair as preserving vehicle life for summer team travel. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Holly, seconded by Colin, with a 5-0 vote.
