Commissioners adopt annual CIE update; approve routine minutes and move to executive session

The Jones County Board of Commissioners on June 16 adopted a resolution concluding the annual update to the county's Capital Improvement Element (CIE), approved the consent agenda including minutes from prior meetings, and voted to enter executive session to discuss personnel and real estate matters.

Mr. Reser introduced the CIE resolution, describing it as the follow-up step after a regional commission review and prior public hearing. The board moved to sign the closing resolution to transmit the adopted update through the state process; the motion was seconded and carried.

Earlier in the meeting the board approved the meeting agenda and minutes from the June 2 work session and other prior meetings by motion and 'all in favor' affirmation. Toward the end of the public meeting a motion to enter executive session for personnel and real estate was made and seconded; the chair called the vote and the motion carried.
