Council approves consent items, renews multiple liquor licenses; bills total $2,159,739.61

The Lamar City Council on June 16 approved consent items that included the June 2 regular meeting minutes, a bills list for the period ending June 12, 2026, the May 2026 monthly financial statement, and renewal of liquor licenses for Sweet 16 Lanes, Wise I Brewing, Jim's Burgers and Chaos on Central, along with a premises transfer amendment for Hoobee's Way.

Administration reviewed the bills and identified several corrections: an incorrectly entered local-option sales tax check and duplicate invoice entries that will be voided and corrected. The administration reported the total bills for the period as $2,159,739.61 and stated fund 600 (water) totaled $253,918.49 for the period.

Council approved the consent items with a roll call vote on the interfund transfer resolution (Resolution 2630) and carried the motion as recorded.
