Community drive at Lafayette Park showcased in Bronxnet segment

Bronxnet aired a short feature about Miss Shy Shy’s fourth annual community drive at Lafayette Park in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, highlighting free clothes, shoes and food for neighbors in need.

The segment quotes Miss Shy Shy saying she organizes the drive because neighbors "don't know what resources or who to go to" and she wants to help however she can. Volunteers London and Lucheta Givens and Tanya Tyler were identified as longtime helpers; they said the drive helps people who cannot afford clothing as prices rise. One volunteer noted many of the children helped are members of their program and described Miss Shy Shy as part of the Kids Bay family.
