Butler County board hears courthouse procurement dates, approves minutes

Butler County officials approved minutes from three recent meetings and heard that the courthouse construction procurement is moving toward public bidding, participants said.

The board voted to accept minutes from its May 20 regular meeting and executive board meetings on May 27 and June 11 after a motion by Kevin and a second from Judge Coleman. The chair called the question and announced the motion carries; the transcript does not record a roll-call tally.

An architect reported the project team was "in a waiting mode" for a few minor items and that the documents now await sequencing into the public-imaging process to go out to bid. The architect said final adjustments were minor and largely procedural.
