Commission approves road intersection and storage-warehouse contract amendments

County staff requested and the commission approved two contract items on the agenda. Miss Chavez presented contract TCC 2026-20 for improvements at the Blueberry Hill Road and Cotton Road intersection; staff described the work as widening the intersection to improve traffic flow and safety. The commission approved the contract by unanimous roll-call vote.

The commission also approved an amendment to contract TCC 2025-30 with A1 Living Design Group Inc. to provide additional services, increased compensation, and an extension of time for design work on a county storage warehouse. Mr. Peterson explained the need for additional storage for county departments and said the project will include employee parking and a gated entry. Commissioners asked for site details and were satisfied with the explanation. The amendment passed by unanimous vote.

Both contract approvals were recorded on the minutes and will proceed to implementation according to contract terms.
