The Williamsville Central School District update recognized board president Kristo Casmic Bogner as she steps away after six years of service to the district. The district credited Bogner with work on strategic planning, academic enrichment, and enhancements to special education services and said she will remain involved as a volunteer.
The update also thanked outgoing student board members Celeanis, Jazelle Maurice, and DSP for raising student voice as the district's first ex officio student board members and said the district looks forward to welcoming three new student members next month. The speaker noted student updates, photo slideshows, and discussions have focused attention on students affected by board decisions.
Separately, the district said it launched video series for the Portrait of a Graduate speaker series (begun in April) and for the district's diversity, equity, and inclusion plan. The videos are available on the district website and are intended to document the work of the last five years and inform development of the next strategic plan for 2027–2032. The speaker emphasized the district will continue academic rigor while awaiting additional guidance from the state.
The update closed with calendar reminders: memory walks for seniors on Wednesday, June 17 at elementary schools, no school Friday, June 19 for Juneteenth observance, and the last student day on Thursday, June 25. Families were directed to the district website for assessment schedules and to contact building administrators with questions.
