CRA to launch TampaCRA.org email addresses and landing page

The board approved staff's recommendation to move forward with Option 2: establishing separate CRA e-mail addresses using the TampaCRA.org domain and creating a TampaCRA.org landing page that retains T&I monitoring but visually distinguishes CRA communications from the city's primary website. Board member Bill Carlson moved the action; the motion passed without recorded opposition in the meeting exchange.

Director Cedric McCray explained the proposal had been coordinated with city technology staff and would include a timeline and options to be returned to the board. Board members discussed operational considerations, including using CRA-branded email for external outreach and the expectation that city staff would continue to maintain records and oversight. The board asked staff to ensure CRA staff use the new CRA email addresses for CRA business going forward.
