Beaufort County announces Green Space Advisory Committee meeting to review land-preservation applications

The Beaufort County Green Space Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. in the executive conference room of the County Council Administration Building at 100 Ribaut Road to review multiple land-preservation requests and project updates, the county announced. Agenda items include three new applications, a farmland preservation application on St. Helena Island, a fee-simple application for a Grid Properties tract, and a planned development buy-down request for a V&R Investment tract in the town of Port Royal.

The meeting will include an executive session to discuss contractual negotiations related to the Pine Grove Plantation tracts and the Harper tracts on St. Helena Island.
