Board approves routine business items, adopts Policy 918 and personnel actions

The Haverford Township School District board handled routine governance matters at its June 11 work session, approving a slate of consent items and adopting one policy.

Motions and outcomes: The board approved the minutes of the May 21 regular meeting (motion moved by Shelton and seconded by Snider). It approved the bill list as presented, accepted change orders listed by administration, approved out-of-district educational contracts and adopted Policy 918 (Title I parent and family engagement) on second reading. Personnel actions were moved, seconded and approved as presented. All motions were called and passed with no recorded opposition.
