Vice Chair Boots delivered a brief update on the county's strategic-plan process and invited committee members and the public to submit questions or suggestions by email, text or in person.
"Going to be very, very short cuz everyone has heard my spiel already," Vice Chair Boots said, and he asked whether there were any questions about where the board stands on the strategic plan. "If there's anything right now?" he added, inviting input.
Supervisor Robinson urged the board to review the survey at a public meeting prior to conducting it so the public would "have a good understanding of what we're doing" and so the strategic plan could be tied more clearly into the work plan. "I would, uh, just suggest that as part of the, prior to the conducting of the, the survey, if you could just maybe go over it with the county, you know, county board at a public meeting," Robinson said.
A committee member thanked Boots, administration and the CPZ department for their assistance in developing the plan. The committee asked members to bring ideas for future discussion and set the next meeting for July 15 at 3:00 p.m.
