Council gives advice and consent to Stuart Okobia as South Salt Lake finance director

Mayor Wood introduced Stuart Okobia as the administration's nominee for finance director and asked the council for advice and consent. "I'm here this evening to seek advice and consent for Stuart Okobia to serve as our finance director for the city of South Salt Lake," the mayor said.

Council Member Joy moved to give advice and consent; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Several council members welcomed Okobia and expressed enthusiasm for his start during budget season.
