Carroll County commissioners approve minutes, amendments and bills; routine reports filed

The Carroll County Commissioners approved the summary and recording of prior meeting minutes, approved appropriation amendments and moved to pay the bills presented. A commissioner urged that residents receiving public assistance use Carroll County businesses when feasible; the speaker noted some services in the bills came from outside the county and encouraged purchasing locally when possible. Separately, commissioners approved a contribution and aid of construction agreement with AP Ohio for installation of a pole, underground cables and a three‑phase transformer at the Moody Avenue annex building, and authorized the board president to sign environmental review documentation for the program year 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
