Kenosha County supervisors approved a series of committee recommendations and ordinances during Monday's meeting.
Appointments and committee referrals
- John Pool was approved to serve on the Joint Services Board (resolution moved by Supervisor Decker; approved by voice vote).
- Guida Brown and Andre Skama were referred to the Human Services Committee for appointments to the Kenosha County Human Services Board.
Planning and land‑use approvals
- The board approved a comprehensive plan amendment and related rezoning/ordinance requests for property in the town of Paris (items related to RRM Productions/Marcel Cooper, agent Anthony Nudo). Committee recommended unanimous approval; the board recorded voice votes and one abstention on some items.
- The board moved and approved ordinances reclassifying select parcels from agricultural designations to park/recreational and conservancy districts as presented by the Planning, Development and Extension Education Committee.
Other measures
- The board referred a resolution celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States to the Legislative Committee and received communications on upcoming Planning, Development and Extension Committee items.
