Council approves RDA annual report and FY26–27 successor-agency program income budget

Council convened the fourth day of the City of Fresno’s FY2026–27 budget hearings and took up a joint item with the Fresno Revitalization Corporation: the successor‑agency annual report and the proposed program‑income budget for the housing successor to the redevelopment agency.

Council President Esparza opened public comment on the joint item and, seeing no speakers, closed public comment and moved into formal action. Councilmember Perea moved to receive the annual report and approve the program‑income budget; the motion was seconded, and the first vote passed unanimously (six to zero). Because the agenda required two separate votes for the two legal entities involved, the second required vote was held shortly afterward with the same outcome, again recorded as passing with no opposition.
