Planning commissioners note upcoming vacancy, August docket to include westside annexation and code amendments

At the June 10 meeting, commissioners acknowledged that this was Commissioner Eddie's last Planning Commission meeting and noted a vacancy will be available for applicants to the commission.

Planning staff welcomed back assistant city attorney Janelle and previewed an expected August 12 joint meeting (planning commission and SPARK) that staff said will likely include the westside annexation referred to in the meeting as the "F-shaped area," remaining items from the phase four code amendments, and pending use-permit review for electronic signs on several city-owned sites.

Staff said there will likely be no meetings between June and August and asked commissioners to expect a busy agenda on August 12 if those items are finalized. Commissioners offered thanks to Commissioner Eddie for their service.
