Board approves consent agenda items, amends attendance policy language

The Beacon City School District Board of Education approved routine business items and amended policy language at its June 8 regular meeting.

Consent agenda: the board moved to approve the consent agenda with two items pulled for separate consideration. Board members thanked leaders of the Beacon Teachers Association; the superintendent specifically acknowledged Christina Dah and Leslie Tomkins for their roles in contract negotiations.
