Board adds occupational therapist to premium pay list to aid recruitment

The board approved adding an occupational therapist to the district's premium/high‑demand compensation list after administrators said the contracted provider (CESA/CISA) no longer had available staff to supply OT services. Miss Mullen explained the district had previously contracted through CISA but is now seeking to hire its own OT directly — a change administrators said would be more cost‑effective and improve recruitment prospects.

Board members approved the change on consent. Administration will advertise and recruit for the position under the district's premium compensation framework.
