RDC approves minutes, TIFF determinations and administrative spending plans

The RDC voted unanimously to approve the April 14 meeting minutes, a set of TIFF determinations for the Westgate and GPC allocation areas, and administrative spending-plan items. Commissioner TC Cook moved to approve the minutes; Mike Keith seconded the motion, which passed by voice vote.

Staff reported both TIFF districts currently show no excess assessed value to pass through to overlapping districts and noted an administrative notification deadline of June 15. The commission approved resolutions to notify overlapping districts of the "no excess TIFF" findings; TC Cook moved and Mike Haley seconded, with the motions passing unanimously.

Members also reviewed professional fees, including amounts listed for Baker Tilly, and adopted the updated spending plan for the year. The commission previewed the 2027 spending-plan request and was told the GPC project will need another 90 to 120 days before submitting a formal 2027 request. The body approved the 2027 administrative items by motion and unanimous vote.

The meeting record shows all formal motions were made and approved by voice vote with no recorded dissents. The RDC agreed to reconvene for future business on an as‑needed basis.
