Bonner County Emergency Management announced receipt of a 2025 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) and the board approved acceptance and administrative signature at the June 9 meeting.
Cameron Lome, planning and preparedness coordinator for Bonner County Emergency Management, told commissioners the county received Emergency Management Performance Grant award EMPG25 EM090 from the Idaho Office of Emergency Management in the amount of $29,741.33 with a required county match of $29,741.33, bringing the total award to $59,482.66. "Bonner County Emergency Management has received an Emergency Management Performance Grant award number EMPG25 EM090 from the Idaho Office of Emergency Management. The amount of the award is $29,741.33 with a required match of $29,741.33 bringing the total amount of the award to $59,482.66," Lome said.
A commissioner moved to approve the award as presented and authorized the chair to sign administratively; the motion passed by roll call vote.
The funding is an annual award from the Idaho Office of Emergency Management and will support county emergency management activities as specified in grant documentation.
