Carroll County Commissioners on June 8, 2026 approved routine business including prior minutes, payment of the day’s bills and a contract change order for a local road project.
The board voted to approve the minutes from June 4 and June 5, then moved to pay bills totaling $88,642.44. Commissioners also approved payment of a set of bills described as “without prior authorization.” No abstentions were recorded on the motions; the board carried each by voice vote.
Commissioners approved change order number 16 for the Moody Avenue project, increasing the contract amount by $7,500. The board also approved the satisfaction and release of mortgage documents for Donna Manny and Travis Fenberry related to a community housing preservation CHIP grant in the amount of $21,191.
The Sheriff’s monthly report for March 2026 was placed on file; the report shows 45 meals served and 153 washes completed. The clerk confirmed copies of the report are available in the commissioners’ office.
The meeting concluded following routine announcements and a motion to adjourn. The board did not hold extended debate on any of the financial motions and took each action by formal motion, second and voice vote.
