The City of Fulshear Economic Development Corporation at its June meeting introduced a new board member, approved officer positions for the 2026–27 term and handled routine administrative business.
Chair Kaye Drescher (who nominated herself for president) was elected as part of a unanimous slate that the board approved by motion. The slate named Kaye for president; Carlos for vice president; Bonnie for secretary; and Nichelle for treasurer. The board also approved the minutes from the May 11 meeting after noting an incorrect date on the agenda and voted unanimously to approve payables totaling $13,774.72 for the reporting period ending April 30.
During introductions, Deborah Dreyer, the board’s new member, outlined a career of roughly 40 years in community and economic development and prior elected service on a school board. Bonnie Tyler Buell also introduced herself and summarized experience on MUD boards and in product management; another new or reappointed board member described prior city council service and long-term involvement in local economic development.
What’s next: routine administrative and budget items will continue on the July agenda; the board did not take votes on CIP pledges at this meeting.
