Superintendent Dr. Gray outlined human-resources and outreach plans for the summer, including a series of hiring fairs, enrollment events coupled with hiring opportunities and a new shorter, mobile‑friendly application process called Team Taylor.
Dr. Gray said hiring fairs are scheduled in June and July, noting a career fair at Quinton Heights on June 25 and an IBW fair on June 24, and encouraged community members to attend and apply. She described Team Taylor as a new, mobile‑friendly application portal that allows candidates to upload short video introductions and complete a shorter application.
Dr. Gray also said Mrs. Williams, identified as the district investigator, has conducted roughly 20 interviews with staff who resigned or retired to collect trend data; those findings will be shared with the board in July alongside a fuller HR update. Brett Church and other staff are participating in teacher retention work through champion groups and feedback sessions.
Board members were asked to participate in listening tours and were reminded that they must follow open‑meeting rules when attending community events together.
