Staff reports progress on policy reviews, accreditation and evidence-room work

A department presenter (S1) updated the council on internal operations, staff changes and accreditation progress.

S1 said a memo from Eric Brown (included in the staff packet) detailed progress since a recent hire, Misty Waller, and that "over 50% of the policies have been reviewed at some level." S1 also described evidence-room work and said the department has temporarily assigned an officer to work with the evidence manager to make progress on evidence organization and storage.

S4 thanked staff for securing interns, saying the interns 'started today.' S1 added that policy review is followed by training and documentation to show compliance, sometimes in the form of operational memos for events such as the Red Rose Festival.
