Commissioners approve $30,000 from PILT to pave service lane at YDC building

Dan Kendall, facilities director for Bannock County, asked the board for permission to use PILT funds to pave a small service lane between the shop and the YDC building and to finish related landscaping. "I'm here today to talk about, the YDC Building... I'm here to ask for the ability to use those PILT funds," Kendall said, estimating materials and curbing would require about $30,000.

Commissioner Moser moved to approve spending the money for the event center work; the chair put the motion to a voice vote and commissioners answered in the affirmative. The chair confirmed the funds would come from PILT as requested.

The approval was made by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded in the transcript. Kendall said he would oversee the paving and landscaping work once the funding was approved.
