The Plaistow Planning Board voted on June 3 to continue application PB2605 — previously continued from March 18 and extended on May 20 — to the June 17 meeting after the applicant requested additional time to resolve technical review items with the board’s consultant and the applicant’s engineer.
Planning administrator Shay Maker told the board she had posted the continuance request and supporting materials in the meeting materials; board members emphasized the need to state the reason for the continuance in the notice so the public understands it is to allow technical issues to be worked out. The continuance will be posted on the town website and public notice will indicate the new hearing date.
The applicant and board members agreed to hold a publicly noticed sitewalk at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection identified in the application (Hoy Farm Road / Luke's Way). Board members confirmed the sitewalk will be a public meeting, that members of the public may attend, and that minutes or notes will be taken; a volunteer agreed to bring refreshments for attendees.
Next steps: PB2605 will appear on the June 17 agenda with any consultant comments or engineering revisions; the board will hold the sitewalk to gather on-site observations and will accept public attendance.
