The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure approved revised subcommittee rosters by unanimous consent during an administrative meeting, adding two recently appointed members to specific panels.
The chair announced that, pursuant to House Resolution 1176, Congressman Clay Fuller of Georgia and Congressman Kevin Kiley of California were appointed to the committee. The chair said Congressman Fuller would join the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, Highways and Transit, and Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials; Congressman Kiley was assigned to Water Resources and Environment, Highways and Transit, and Economic Public Buildings and Emergency Management.
The chair welcomed the newest member, noting Congressman Fuller’s prior service as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and Georgia Air National Guard and as a district attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit. "I'm pleased to welcome the newest member of the House of Representatives, Congressman Clay Fuller from Northwest Georgia, to the Committee," the chair said.
No member asked to be recognized to speak on the rosters. The committee adopted the revised rosters without objection and the chair declared the rosters approved.
The approvals were administrative in nature; the committee authorized staff to make technical, clarifying and conforming changes to reflect the actions taken.
