During the citizens' comment period, Lasagna Hall introduced herself to the Arlington board and said she is running for Shelby County Clerk.
"I am bringing you greetings from Shelby County government where I serve as your deputy chief administrative officer," she said, describing more than 25 years of executive experience and Lean Six Sigma training. "I am running to be your next Shelby County Clerk. I am bringing to this office efficiency, transparency and accountability..." she said, and added she plans to offer kiosk-based services to reduce in-person travel for residents.
Hall emphasized customer service and fiscal responsibility, saying government should "serve" and highlighting plans to ensure taxpayer dollars go to appropriate programs. She thanked Mayor Wisman and board members for the opportunity to speak.
