Board adopts resolution commemorating start of Pride Month in St. Louis

The Board of Aldermen unanimously adopted Resolution 35 on May 21, 2026, commemorating the beginning of Pride Month in St. Louis and noting local kickoff events. The Alderwoman from the 8th said her ward will host the kickoff at Four Hands Brewery and that downtown Pride Fest is scheduled for June 27–28.

"This resolution just acknowledges both the kickoff of the event and the fantastic kickoff of Pride Month that will be having here in the city of St. Louis," the Alderwoman from the 8th said when presenting the resolution. Members signaled support and several aldermembers asked to be added as co-sponsors before the roll call. The clerk recorded 15 I votes to adopt the resolution.

The resolution was placed in 'in bank' during the meeting procedure before adoption and will be reflected in the board's records. No formal amendments or dissent were recorded in the transcript.
